Ms. Sina Bierkamp receives the Hans Hartwig Ruthenberg Graduate Award for outstanding Master theses.
Her thesis entitled “Assessing the Role of Natural Resource Extraction and its Determinants for Rural Households in Southeast Asia” was written in the cotnext of the TVSEP long-term project. Her results provide important insights on the strategies that poor rural households in South East Asia can use to ensure their livelihoods and food security without contributing to the overuse of natural resources.
