The new WBGU report „Rethinking Land in the Anthropocence: from Separation to Integration”

On the 3rd of November 2020, the German Advisory Council on Global Change (WBGU) handed over their new flagship report „Rethinking Land in the Anthropocence: from Separation to Integration” to Anja Karliczek (Federal Minister for Education and Research) und Svenja Schulze (Federal Minister for Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety). Prof. Dr. Ulrike Grote was member of the German Advisory Council on Global Change (2016-2020) and is co-author of the report.

We can only succeed in climate-change mitigation, avert the dramatic loss of biodiversity and make the global food system sustainable if there is a fundamental change in the way we manage land. (https://www.wbgu.de/landshift).
