The aim of this research project is to better understand the welfare and nutritional situation of the rural population in Tanzania, the entrepreneurial behavior of households and the resilience of the local people. In addition, the project aims to shed light on the coping strategies used by the rural population and to map long-term rural developments in developing regions characterized by extreme poverty. The research is based on the project "Innovating Strategies to safeguard Food Security using Technology and Knowledge Transfer: A people-centered Approach (Trans-SEC)".
