Under the title "From New Normal to the Next Normal: Migration Research and Policy in the Changing World", the conference presented the results of current migration research. In particular, the conference addressed the challenges related to Covid-19 and advancing climate change. Ulrike Grote introduced the TVSEP project and Sina Bierkamp presented her paper "Environmental income and remittances. Evidence from rural central highlands of Vietnam" to show how the TVSEP data has been used in migration research.
