International ICABR Conference on Bioeconomy Innovation Pipelines and Supply Chain Shocks in Bologna, Italy

From the 5th to the 8th of July the 26th annual ICABR (International Consortium on Applied Bioeconomy Research) conference took place in Bologna, Italy.

The conference covered topics including increasing supply chain resilience as recent supply chain shocks (e.g., due to the COVID-19 pandemic) have made the vulnerability of supply chains visible and have also led to new challenges as well as opportunities. Robyn Blake-Rath from the IUW therefore presented her latest results on “Resilience and Digitalization in the German Farming Sector: Lessons from the COVID-19 Pandemic”.
