Start des Projekts 5GAPS gefördert vom Bundesministerium für Digitales und Verkehr (BMDV)

Am 14.2.2022 fand die Kick-off Pressekonferenz des Projekts „Access to Public Spaces with 5G Technologies (5GAPS)“ 2022 – 2024 gefördert vom Bundesministerium für Digitales und Verkehr (BMDV) statt. Entwickelt wird ein 5G-mobilfunkgestütztes, dynamisches, dreidimensionales Positionierungssystem mit prototypischen Anwendungen. Das IWI wird Anwendungen für zivile Behörden und Organisationen mit Sicherheitsaufgaben (BOS) und urbane Logistik (Fortsetzung BMBF Projekt USEfUL XT ab 2023) entwickeln. Projektpartner des IWI sind u.a. die Landeshauptstadt Hannover, die Deutsche Messe, Hannover, das L3S@LUH, das IKG@LUH und die ATS Elektronik GmbH, Wunstorf. Bearbeitet wird das Projekt am IWI von Felix Bäßmann, Maximilian Heumann und Oliver Werth. Weitere Informationen zum Projekt finden Sie hier.
