11th ASAE International Conference in Tokyo on “Sustainable and Resilient Asian Agriculture and Food Systems in the Global World”

The IUW team participated in the 11th Asian Society of Agricultural Economists (ASEA) – an international conference held in Tokyo, from March 17th to 20th, 2023. The theme of the conference was "Sustainable and Resilient Asian Agriculture and Food Systems in the Global World ".

In this conference, Gokul Paudel presented his research findings on “Trade-offs between remittance and agricultural productivity in Nepal”, and Prof. Dr. Ulrike Grote chaired a symposium on “Shocks, behavioural responses, and long-term welfare dynamics in rural Southeast Asia”. In the symposium, Dr. Trung Thanh Nguyen, Manh Hung Do, and Robyn Blake-Rath also presented their novel research findings.
