In February 2023, Ulrike Grote and Trung Thanh Nguyen travelled to Vietnam to intensify collaboration with partners at Vietnam National University of Agriculture (VNUA) in Hanoi, National Economics University (NEU), Hanoi, and the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City (UEH) in the context of the Thailand Vietnam Socio Economic Panel Project (TVSEP). In March 2023, Ulrike Grote met with representatives from the Ubon Ratchathani University (UBU) in Ubon, as well as the Kasetsart University (KU) and the Thailand Development Research Institute (TDRI) in Bangkok, to strengthen the long-term existing research cooperation in Thailand. In addition, Ulrike Grote gave a seminar at TDRI, moderated by Dr. Nipon Poapongsakorn, Director of the Thailand Development Research Institute and Board member of TVSEP.
